Hello Snowflakes

30 Dec

When is the last time you looked at a snow flake.  I mean REALLY took the time to look at them. Probably sometime in the first 10 years of your life right? Snowflakes are so amazing! Each one so different, so tiny, so detailed.  If we could photograph them each separately what would that look like?

After a particularly foggy night turned frosty, I took the time to really look.

And this is just the first few weeks of winter!! :)

Wonderful shots and thank you for the reminder to slow down and appreciate small things. But, I’m guessing you and I will have lots of opportunities to look at snowflakes based upon how the winter is shaping up so far. :-)

Gee, I thought I WAS getting downright personal with the little buggers this year. We’ve only had about a gazillion billion of them drop in every single day (with few exceptions). But your gorgeous photo’s have given me a new perspective. I guess you can’t judge a snowflake by the friends it keeps. The nasty friends like, drift, whiteout and black ice. :D Happy New Year Sunshine, here’s to another happy year of gardening!
